// 01 / Bio

Dennis Pilarinos has spent his career building products that remove friction for software engineers.

He started on the ground floor of Microsoft Azure, helping build the early cloud platform from scratch. At Amazon he became the first AWS employee in the Vancouver office, built the team, and worked on the Kindle Fire stack along with developer tooling and infrastructure.

Dennis then founded buddybuild to fix how mobile teams shipped software. It became the go-to CI platform for tens of thousands of developers worldwide, and that traction led to its acquisition by Apple.

Today he runs Unblocked, which gives AI the context it needs to be useful in real software development. He measures success by how much time and confusion his team removes from engineering workflows.

Faster loops, same mistakes: building the context layer for agentic development

Abstract

AI speeds up the software development lifecycle. Without the judgment engineers bring, it also speeds up mistakes. Dennis shows how to bring that judgment into the agent loop by rebuilding organizational knowledge from pull requests, tickets, incidents and conversations.

Through a live demo and a real architecture, you’ll see how to resolve identities, reconcile conflicting information, enforce permissions and keep that knowledge current, so agents can work more independently with human expertise built in.

What you’ll learn

How to rebuild organizational knowledge from pull requests, tickets, incidents and conversations

Resolving identities and reconciling conflicting sources into one context layer

Enforcing permissions and keeping agent context current as the codebase changes
