AI Dev — Ticket Terms of Service
Event: AI Dev, November 30 – December 1, 2026, Pier Sixty, New York City
These terms are between you and New Electricity Company (“we,” “us,” “AI Dev”). Last updated: September 10, 2026.
Welcome to AI Dev. These are the terms of your ticket — a binding agreement between you and us. By checking the “I agree” box at checkout, or by picking up or using an AI Dev badge, you accept these terms. If you have questions before you buy, write to aidev@deeplearning.ai.
1. Your ticket
Your ticket is your registration for AI Dev’s professional program: the talks, workshops, and expo on November 30 and December 1, 2026. Evening social events are included as a complimentary, optional part of the event, at no separate charge. Your ticket admits one named person. It is not a seat reservation for any specific session, and it does not include travel, lodging, or anything else you book separately.
Wear your badge while you are on site. If you lose it, we will reprint it for a $500 fee. A badge that is being shared, duplicated, or used by someone it was not issued or transferred to can be deactivated without a refund.
All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.
2. If we cancel
If AI Dev cannot take place on November 30 – December 1, 2026, it will be considered canceled, and we will refund the amount you paid for your ticket to your original payment method within 30 days.
This refund is the full extent of what we owe you if the event is canceled, including when the cancellation is caused by force majeure events such as extreme weather, government orders, public-health emergencies, strikes, or utility or network failures. Flights, hotels, and other bookings will not be refunded or reimbursed.
3. The program can change
As with any live event, speakers, sessions, and the schedule may change. We will keep the program as close as we can to what is advertised, but changes to the lineup or schedule are not grounds for a refund.
4. Recording, photography, and the live transcript
Photos and video. We may photograph, film, and record audio at AI Dev to document the event and promote future ones. By attending, you agree that we may use your image, voice, and likeness in this material, worldwide, without any compensation to you, and that this permission does not expire. If you prefer to stay off camera where possible, tell a staff member and we will do our best (but cannot guarantee) to accommodate you.
The live transcript. AI Dev sessions may be transcribed. During talks, audio in session rooms may be converted to text in real time and may be made available, live and afterward, to software including third-party AI agents. By attending, you agree that if you speak at a microphone in a session room, your words become part of the session transcript.
Agent access. If we issue you a token or credential for accessing transcript feeds, it is for your use only. You may not redistribute or resell the feeds, exceed the published rate limits, or use them to identify or profile individual speakers. We may revoke access that is misused.
5. Your information
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it. Unless you are a resident of the EU or UK, we may share your name, company, title, and contact details with AI Dev sponsors and partners, who may contact you about their products. If you are an EU or UK resident, sponsors receive your details only when you have your badge scanned at their booth.
Payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store your full card number.
6. Code of conduct
Everyone at AI Dev is expected to follow our Code of Conduct, which covers respectful behavior and prohibits unauthorized commercial solicitation at the event. If you violate it, if your behavior raises a safety concern, or if you refuse a reasonable security check at entry, we may refuse you entry or require you to leave, without a refund. Serious violations may also result in exclusion from future AI Dev events.
7. No resale
Tickets may not be resold or offered for resale. Tickets sold by anyone other than AI Dev are void, and we may refuse entry on a resold ticket without a refund.
8. Our responsibility to you, and its limits
You attend AI Dev and any of its session and events voluntarily, and you accept the ordinary risks of attending a large in-person gathering.
If we are legally responsible to you for something that goes wrong at or in connection with the event – including harm caused by our own negligence or the negligence of our staff and contractors – the most we will owe you, in total, is the amount you paid us for your ticket. We will not be liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or the cost of travel and lodging.
Nothing in this section limits our liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
9. If someone sues us because of you
If a third party brings a claim against us because of your conduct at the event, or because of content you provided to us without having the rights to it, you agree to cover the costs we reasonably incur defending that claim.
11. If we ever disagree
With any concerns, please contact us at aidev@deeplearning.ai; most issues can be resolved directly. If we have a dispute we cannot resolve that way, both of us agree to resolve it through individual binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association’s Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, and not as part of a class action.
This section does not waive any right to public injunctive relief that cannot legally be waived. If a dispute proceeds in court, both of us waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action, to the extent the law allows.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by New York law. Any court proceeding belongs in the state or federal courts in New York County, New York.
13. Housekeeping
Changes to these terms. We may update these terms; if a change is significant, we will email registrants. Attending the event after an update means you accept it. One thing we will not change after you buy: the refund and cancellation commitments that applied when you purchased.
If part of this document is unenforceable, the rest of these terms still stand.
Entire agreement. These terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Code of Conduct are the whole agreement between us about your ticket.
