AI Dev — Code of Conduct

AI Dev brings a large professional community into one venue. This Code of Conduct is part of the Ticket Terms of Service and applies to everyone at the event - attendees, speakers, sponsors, staff, and vendors - in the session rooms, the expo, any evening or related events, and any official AI Dev online spaces.
1. The standard
Treat everyone with respect and professionalism. Disagreement about ideas is welcome; that is what a technical conference is for. Disrespect toward people is not.
2. What is not allowed
Harassment, including offensive comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, appearance, race, religion, or nationality; sexual language or imagery; intimidation or stalking; unwelcome physical contact or sexual attention; and sustained disruption of talks or events.
Recording or streaming sessions without our written permission. Session content is distributed through official AI Dev channels only.
Unauthorized commercial solicitation. Selling, demoing, recruiting for, or promoting products or services at the event is reserved for sponsors and exhibitors within their contracted spaces. This includes hosting unofficial gatherings that target AI Dev attendees during the event without our agreement.
Misuse of credentials, including sharing or duplicating badges, or accessing areas your badge does not cover.
Excessive intoxication and illegal substances. Drink responsibly at evening events; we may stop serving anyone, or ask anyone to leave, at our discretion. Illegal drug use has no place at the event.
Disregarding others’ privacy. Ask before photographing or filming individual attendees, and respect a no. Official event photography and recording are covered in the Privacy Policy and the Ticket Terms of Service.
Weapons of any kind.
Unsafe or unlawful behavior. Follow the law, venue rules, and instructions from staff.
3. Reporting
If you experience or witness a violation, tell any AI Dev staff member - they are identifiable by their badges - or email aidev@deeplearning.ai. Reports are handled discreetly. If someone’s immediate safety is at risk, contact venue security or emergency services first.
4. Enforcement
We decide, at our discretion, how to respond to violations. Responses range from a warning to removal from the event without a refund, and, for serious violations, exclusion from future AI Dev events. Where the law is broken, we will involve law enforcement.
